Hi, I'm a member who hasn't posted in a long time.  On another board I'm on, some people from the 3 Bunnies Rabbit Rescue in East Hartford, CT need some help.  They have a bonded pair (mother and daughter) of beautiful New Zealands (see at 3bunnies.org/oompa_and_loompa.htm ) who need a foster home ASAP.  The daughter has tested positive for pasturella and bordatella, and since these are very contagious, they cannot keep them at the shelter.  No one who helps there can foster them either, becuase they all have bunnies at home that could get sick.  These guys are in danger of being PTS because there is no option for them--they can't stay at the shelter and they can't go to any of their normal fosterers' houses.  Could you or anyone you know put these guys up for the course of their treatment?  A home currently without bunnies would be best.  See our discussion on this at www.rabbitsonline.net/view_topic.php?id=44407&f... (you have to be a member of the board to see it) or contact 3 Bunnies at [email protected]
