It has recently come to our attention that our Hiro bunny hasn't been feeling very well. She has been eating and drinking less, more full out tired when she's tired (but still very active), she has a temp, crusties on her eyes and around her nose from sneezing more then she normally does. We tried a few things to get her to eat more, and let her out and played with her more to see if she was acting that way cause she was depressed, but nothing seemed to help. Early this morning I took Hiro into the vet when Kuroneko-hime was at school. We went through some tests, talked about a few things over with the vet, and then she did a physical.
She has very early stages of GI Stasis, but the vet said that its nothing to worry about at this early of a stage, gave us some medicine to fix what started, gave me a few food idea's to get her to eat some more, and set up a check up date next week to see if anything more needs to be done. She was very impressed how quick we were to catch onto these symptoms and how quick we were to act on it. I have to say that I owe all of you thanks, cause my just watching this (and others) group taught me the signs to look for. Still, she's not better yet so please wish upon any stars that you see falling that she makes a fast recovery.
P.S. She LOVES her medicine, and escaped from Kuroneko-hime when I went to go put it away cause she wanted more.
