Hi everyone! I live in Berlin, work from home, and have been wanting a bunny for ages. Today I got my wish and am welcoming a new 8 month old rabbit into my life. She is young but mature for her age and very well behaved. I did a lot of observing her before deciding on her. I just got her home today and she seems to be adjusting well. She seems most content either sitting around in her house of cuddling up next to my knee. This is my first rabbit and even though I've done quite a bit of research I was wondering if there is anything else I could do to make her feel at home and lessen the shock of being moved out of a mall pet store (I figured playing elevator music would probably not help). (There is a photo of her below that was taken at a distance in the pet store. I wouldn't dare poke a camera at her today.) She also seems to be a bit confused about how the water bottle works. How long should I wait before putting in a dish instead? I don't want her to get dehydrated. Also, any other non-obvious tips for a first-time rabbit caretaker? Thanks in advance!
