I realize this is my second post today... but bear with me here..
My partner and I are trying to get our older (4yrs or so) adopted bunny to lose some weight (he's not seriously overweight, just a bit pudgy). His diet is controlled, he has only 1/4 cup of timothy based pellets, about a cup of veggies a day (usually broccoli, with a bit of celery. He gets carrot, apple, banana, mango, and spinach once in a while as treats), and all the hay and water he wants, so we figure that he's just not exercising enough. He has plenty of access to outside of his cage ( basically, if we're home the doors are open), but he tends to hang out and rest most of the time. Again, he has access to plenty of toss toys, chew toys, balls, etc, but he just doesn't seem too interested. Does anyone have any advice on how to get him to play more?
