Hi folks, I'm new to the community! I have had my 3-year-old black satin bun, Oliver, for about two weeks now, and so far being a bunny mommy is just as fantastic as I had hoped! I adopted him through a rabbit rescue near my hometown, but since he's been here he's had no problem asserting the fact that he's the man of the house. I'm really pleasantly surprised at how affectionate he is - whenever I give him free roam, he hops right over and sticks his nose under my hand (shame on me for leaving a bunny head unpetted!). He eats greens right out of my hand (he's a little fatty - ten pounds!) and tolerates being held. He's a little devil though, his favourite thing to do lately is to try to get into all the areas I've blocked off.
