but do rabbits menstruate? I hadn't thought so, but...
I noticed blood (definetly blood, not the orangey discoloration from a betta carotene diet) in my adult girl's litter tray this arvo. Picked her up for inspection and she seemed to have some dried blood on her nether regions.
Note: she is over a year old and not spayed (bad, I know, but I am terrified of taking my rabbits to any vet after what happened with my first one). She is acting normal and healthy, besides. Not even any signs of attempting to nest or a false pregnancy.
Should I be worried?
