Due to complaints of nearby residents to the rescue (located in
Cambridgeshire - Wallers Close in Great Chishill, UK), Caroline
Collings may be forced to close the center which has been operating
since 1998.

Pygmy rabbits breed in wild

16 of the 20 Columbia Basin pygmy rabbits released in the Sagebrush Flat Wildlife Area were killed by predators. 2 others, both males, wandered outside the study area and were re-captured, leaving only 1 male and 1 female in the wild which have bred successfully. More pygmy rabbits may be released in the area this fall.

Привет! Приглашаю к общению людей, которым интересно узнать много нового о карликовых кроликах.

Карлики появились в РОссии в 96-98гг, первые были завезены из Австрии, Чехии с выставок, на которых были российские любители.
С тех пор минуло не мало лет, зайцы расселяются по стране ...
Много людей прикепело душой к этим прикольным существам... и содержут ушастых в своих квартирах в качестве домашних любимцев.
Карлики приучаются ходить на лоток, и обладают не дюжим интеллектом.

Учитывая, что у меня эти зверята живут скоро уж как 6 лет, могу рассказать о них много интересного...
Еще, могу похвастаться, что теперь у меня есть "бумажки" : Сертификат золотого уровня и корочка эксперта по кроликам(училась на курсах в Москве).

Это фото моих зайцев породы карликовый баран.

RSPCA (UK) to help improve bunnies living conditions

The RSPCA will be accepting applications for brand new large rabbit hutches. Existing pet bunny owners who might not be able to afford the full price of a large rabbit hutch are encouraged to apply.
