YouTube forbid me to post this, but the rabbits just HAD to share. They made their first music video, Lady Tacey's rendition of "Just Dance". Feat. Missy Nixie, Maestro Monk, DJ Huxley, and Angel Kenya in a cameo. I was able to splice in some of the footage I had of him when he was a baby, binkying around our bedroom. He was such a happy, cute little thing, and I'm glad with this I can remember him in happier times.

One year ago Kenya and Monk had their terrible fight. A fight that we don't think contributed to his death besides, the stress it probably caused his fragile immune system. On the 15th (Wednesday) it'll be one year since we lost him. Miss you Kenny-Wab! You're still such a gorgeous!!

LOL

My bunny snores. XD

Подскажите врачей по кроликам и их телефоны, чтобы вызвать на дом. Сделать на дому прививки, осмотр и т.д. ОЧЕНЬ НУЖНО. и сколько это выйдет по деньгам?

A picture of our Flemish Giant:

Our Flemish, Duke, snuggling with my seven year old.  My daughter is Duke's favorite person.  She usually comes away from Duke covered in "bunny spit" (her words).  She loves that Duke thinks so highly of her, she's just not loving the getting wet part, lol.

This is Jumble Bunny - aka 'Jums' - having a well-earned rest.

"I et all the pellets!"

And this is Jumble with his good lady, Charcoal:

They were originally RSPCA rabbits, chosen from a litter of 5. Apparently, a ginormous grey rabbit mated with a Netherland dwarf and these 2 were the result.

Who's that watching?

My boyfriend and I are contemplating adopting a rabbit once we move into a new place. I am doing some research before making a final decision. I have no experience whatsoever with rabbits but I have had cats all of my life(literally since the day I was born Ihave always had at least one cat around). So I know about cats but am clueless about rabbits.

We have a very well mannered dog and an antisocial cat. The cat only loves me and my daughter he hates everyone else. I had a kitten once last year and when she tried to play with him he would hiss and run away. He never swiped at her unless she attacked him(she was really aggressive). And then he'd try to eat her face enough to make her back off. My cat is okay with my boyfriend's dog because he doesn't mess with my cat. This dog is one of the most well mannered, polite, fun dogs I have ever had the pleasure to know. He lets babies pull on him and crawl all over and doesn't mess with other animals. He IS protective and has gotten aggressive if someone threatens my boyfriend. He got aggressive once when an older child wouldn't leave him alone, when she hurt him he growled in warning and when she wouldn't stop he clamped down on her hard enough to make her realize her stupidness. He did not break skin.

So I am obviously concerned about having a rabbit roaming the house as well. I am not worried so much about the dog as my cat. The dog would probably sniff at and try to lay on it if we introduced a rabbit. My cat? I am not sure. I don't think he'd intentionally try to murder it, he'd most likely run and hide in a corner and hiss or growl then run and hide again if the rabbit came snuffling around.

My daughter is four and turning five in January. She loves animals and does not try to harm them in anyway, even out of curiosity. I am very proud of her. I am worried she might hug the rabbit to death. lol

So. I would like to glean some tips and advice from cat/dog/rabbit owners. How did you introduce your lovelies to each other? Does anyone have a cat like mine? What did you do? I just bought House Rabbit Handbook of Amazon.com and I'm reading websites right now. But there is nothing like first hand experience, in my opinion!

Jonas

I got my bunneh, Jonas, a new cage/pen today.  He has much more room now.  For the last 30 minutes, he's been hopping sideways and in cirlces.  Is he happy about his new home or just being crazy?  Also, does your bunny lick your feet?  We used to have him confined to the kitchen area, and when we were cooking and such, he would follow us around and lick our feet everytime we stood still for more than a few seconds.

Type your cut contents here.

I adopted my first bunny from the House Rabbit Connection in August 08. His is a hotot mix named Mason. He is a tiny bun (about 3 pounds) and a humongous trouble maker.

Here are some pictures!

Meet Mason:

On his first day home, Mason refused to leave his beloved box:

On his second day, he explored a little bit of his playpen area:

After one week, Mason decided he didn't want to stay in the playpen (even though it covered the entire living room) and became a free range bunny all the time.

Bun Loaf

Mason loves to eat.

In the background you can see the playpen which is now only used to keep Mason away from the baseboard.

Mason loves to chew on the closet door and the baseboard. They are the same kind of wood.

Mason loves to bite my knee. It either means: Pet me, feed me, OR I hate you mommy! I dunno.

For halloween Mason wants to be an angel bunny:

Or a girl bunny:

No girls allowed!

No mommies either!

Relaxing in his happy place: behind the couch.

DEAD?!?!?!

Just sleeping...

Yoga time!

Bunny bun.

Mason is much crazier at 9pm-5am. He binkies like crazy when the lights go out and before I go to work at 3:30am. The flash on my camera sucks though so no pics yet of his binkies which sucks because he looks hilarious!

Hi there,
I finally did get a cat and he doesn't chase one of my rabbits, but he does the other one. I've held Jasper and showed the cat that he's not to be chased but because Jasper runs away the cat thinks he's prey. Other than a spray bottle is there anything you can suggest?

This is a question for the Domestic Goddess types out there.

My Girls will have their first birthday next month.
I intend to use this as a flimsy excuse to eat carrot cake, but it would be nice if the bunnies could have something special, too.

I found this recipe, which looks yummy, but I'm wondering whether you have any other ideas for things I could make for the Birthday Buns.

Can you help? Pretty please?

А покупал декоративного!

Здравствуйте всем! У меня дома уже полтора года живет кролик Крош. Он настоящий красавчик и любимчик всей семьи. Вопрос: есть ли необходимость заводить ему подружку? Или он и без этого проживет спокойно?

s-m-r-t

We had a vet appointment this morning! Or rather, we should have. When I first adopted Moe Moe about six weeks ago, a well-intentioned friend gave me one of those soft-sided pet carriers. It's mostly padded vinyl with a mesh top and sides, and it zips.

Turns out (duh) they may work great for cats and dogs, but they're no good for bunnies, who can chew a hole in fabric in .2 seconds when they realize they're trapped. He chewed a hole just big enough put his nose through, then SHOVED his head so hard against it that the zipper unzipped itself down the side. Boing!
Clever Moe! Then he wanted head-pets. He was all NEENEERNEENER I EXCAPED XD

My emergency back-up plan was to put him in a big basket with a comfy fleece and some raisins at the bottom, something he wouldn't mind just chillaxin' in. Maybe I'd throw a towel over the top. He got in it willingly enough but it was too shallow and as soon as I lifted it up he made jumping-out-from-a-great-height motions. Basket went quickly back to the ground. Boing! Once again, clever Moe, this time happily chewing a raisin!

(He's usually pretty mellow, and this latter course of action could maybe have worked if I had a friend to do the driving while I held the basket in my lap and gave head-pets. But it's pretty much just me n' Moe. So no go.)

Thus, I have been outwitted!
I'v rescheduled his vet appointment. It was just a nails-trim and check-up, so it can wait. Now to acquire (hopefully at not too much expense) a more bunny-appropriate carrier. A couple I know have offered their extra hard-sided top-loading carrier that they can't get their kitties into. This will be perfect I think. I THINK. But I've been wrong before!

Moe Moe has had a victory flop and is now crunching half a carrot left over from breakfast, unfazed.

Made from metal office cubes fastened with plastic electrical ties. Floor is dark green turf that we got at Home Depot last night. We also just got her that colored house. She loves to jump in and out of it. We still need to make her a second level on one side. That is why the wood is there. But the second level is going to move to the other side of cage. She seems to like it a lot. I think it's big enough for her not to get mad when she is in it while we are at work or sleeping at night.
