One of the rescued death-row bunnies, Westly, had some weird bald spots. They were tested for ringworm, but tested negative. We treated him with anti-fungal cream anyway (In case there was a false negative or it didn't pick it up, just to check to see if it improved) and it got better. On his back, where he had one bald spot, the hair has regrown. BUT, there was the chance he was barbering there.
On the back of his head, under his ears, the hair has not regrown. At all. The skin is pale, smooth, and healthy looking, but no hair. Honestly, I don't care either way, I adore him. :P But I was wondering what could cause the hair to not regrow, was it just damaged too much? His coat overall has gotten signifficantly softer and shinier since being here, it's just that one spot that's not growing anything.
I should warn you, my camera does nasty things to white/black animals. So he looks like complete crap here. If we ever had a non-rainy day here in Norther Illinois, i'd take good pictures of him. I hate to play favorites, but he's definitely my favorite. :P He's a cuddler, and while he's more laid back and quiet compared to the others, he's an angel. He comes when you call him, he never gets into things, and he's just great. After losing my Mr. Bunny several years ago (an all black minilop) I had this stupid idea that I never wanted an all-black rabbit again. And yet, it's the all black lionhead that suckers me in the worst. :P

He's also getting all this weird brown hair now. (In rats it's called rusting, I'm sure it's not a big deal. :P)

His main is all fuzzy. He'll probably have to molt before it looks good. the mane on the top of his head (Which was slightly wet for these pictures. >.> He got into the cats' water dish. :P) is looking better.

He's put weight on, too. He was SO skinny when he got here, and he could still stand to put on more weight (you can feel his bones a little, just not as much as before.) but he's really changed a lot.
Old pictures of him:

Nearly a group shot! (all 5 bunnies are there, which leaves Honey and the lop Dill not in these pictures.)

This is Dill. He's.. kinda grumpy. He was from the doomed bunny bunch, but his neuter was later and so he got here later. He's not in a group yet, what I'm looking at doing is introducing him to the little buns, and moving Ace and Gary in with Honey. .. we'll see how that goes, though.
Also, what's a good way to 'boost' an underweight bunny a bit? Westly's not super thin, and he is gaining, I'd just like to give it a boost. :P
